Great Food, Great People, Great Atmosphere and good prices. What more could a soul ask for? Well there’s the idyllic country location just off the farm to market road running through Livingston. And there is all the quaint and unique antiques/ junk that over abundantly adorn the place. The BBQ rates right up there with the best of Texas BBQ. Although, as I try to keep my diet low-carb, I found the bbq sauce and the baked beans to be a bit too sweet for my taste. However, I assume I’m probably in the small minority with that opinion. The burgers over at the table next to me also look quite appealing.

Great stop, on a scenic drive of the East side of Lake Livingston.... Sliced BBQ brisket sandwich, was the best I've had in a while, thin sliced, moist, tender, 1/4" smoke ring on the brisket, fast service, lots of antiques to look at while you're there....

Homemade pies by the slice or whole. Buttermilk pecan, need I say more? Ok, boudin balls, Cajun fried corn, fried okra, pickles, and delicious home style burgers, BBQ heaven. Quirky little place in Livingston, where have you been all my life? Today's special was chicken 'n dumplings!

Food was to die for especially the 3 plate barbecue plate. I got the pork ribs, brisket, and sausages and they were amazing. The employees were also amazing as they were very welcoming and walked around to make sure everything was okay which was awesome. Overall, it was a great experience with even better food.

Best BBQ in town! Friendly service. You've got to try the fried corn. I have never had corn that tasted so good. Beans had brisket in them. Delish. Fun decorations too. Please stop here if you're in town!

best B B Q in the state but the best kept secrets are the Budain Balls, these are so good that I can eat a dozen of them with just hot sauce. They are served with ranch dipping sauce for folks with no flair for excitement in their lives. Truly, try them either way and make it your own life experience

We were passing through from LA to TX and found this place through Google reviews. Such sweet character! The owner was so kind and accommodating. The boudin balls are so, so good! They even had really yummy corn dogs. The three meat plate was enough to split. FANTASTIC
